We only sung with Tom Walker! What?!

WOW!  We are SO proud of our ESSEX BIG Singers who could drop everything at the last minute to be at rehearsals on Friday night and perform with Tom Walker in Colchester on Saturday!  What an achievement.  So HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?  Well on THURSDAY, Tom Walker’s record company asked us if we would learn Tom’s new single ‘Holy Ghost’ and perform in Colchester for a last minute pop up performance on SATURDAY!    We moved everything around to make it happen.  Our Musical Director, Howard, quickly put together a choir arrangement, rehearsed the choir and then led them on Saturday.  We can honestly say WE SMASHED IT!

We also go to perform ‘Head Underwater’ with Tom as well – what a moment.  Tom was overwhelmed with the full sound coming from the choir and what we did with the song – it was a really special moment.  Tom said he got goosebumps singing with US!  Yay!
