What a weekend of FESTIVALS!

Did you see us at any of these events at the weekend?

FOCUS FESTIVAL – 50 members of our Essex & Midlands Gospel Choirs united for a full day at the FOCUS Festival at Newark Showground. What a great day we had together. With 8000 people at this festival we surprised them with a flash mob on arrival; then we had about 150 people join us for a singing workshop when we turned them into a choir and finished off with a performance when the new Focus BIG Sing Choir joined us.  We had such a great day if you saw us there – why not e-mail and tell us what you thought.  Let us know:  info@big-sing.com

BASILDON FESTIVAL – One of our youngest choirs – Basildon’s BIG Sing enjoyed performing at their first local community event.  The crowd loved hearing the choir and wanted more!  We had a GREAT time!

ESSEX JAMBOREE FESTIVAL – O Sunday, 50 choir members went along to sing for the Scouts and Guides. So many children at one festival – over 8000! We loved performing for them on the beach stage.

NEW WINE FESTIVAL – Our Directors: Howard and Gemma travelled down to Bath Showground on Sunday to turn New Wine Festival into a choir! With over 14000 people at this one it was a GREAT opportunity to get them singing and tell them all about The BIG Sing! We played them our BGT video to show our choir off and then they were taught 2 songs:‘One Love’ and ‘Oh Happy Day’.  After just an hour they were singing in three part harmony! Oh we were very proud of their achievements!
