WOW WOW WOW! – BIG FEST 2024!

Gemma & Howard Francis report back on our biggest concert of the year!

What a day! Massive THANK YOU to all who came to BIG FEST on Saturday. We are still BUZZING (and aching all over!) but we are SO HAPPY to have had such a fantastic experience together with our choir members featuring the AMAZING Eban Brown . The day was full of lots of laughter, friendships, and amazing experiences and the concert was FABULOUS!

Eban Brown was just incredible – what a humble guy! He loved the experience just as much as we did and we even made him emotional. He certainly felt the BIG Sing love! Having him sing with us at The BIG Sing was such a massive honour and a moment of a lifetime.

We are SO PROUD of every single one of our choir members.  They sound better every year!  We had 372 choir members united as one – the sound was so POWERFUL – and overwhelming at times! If Love Could Just Be Love was a massive highlight – and a goosebump moment. All of us dancing and singing our hearts out at the end to Celebrate You and Stevie Medley – was so joyous! The happiness on everyone’s faces was indescribable. Massive well done to our two soloists, Keith and Aaron, who did so well – they both did us so proud.  More magical moments included the choir dancing to their places on Eban’s song and then singing Can’t Give You Anything with him.  The Retreat Choir did AMAZING   performing The Stylistics Medley with Eban – that was a very special moment! The united Gospel Choir WOW they sounded wonderful.

Most of all, what we LOVED to see, is the UNITY of The BIG Sing family. Whether a choir member had been with us only a few weeks or many years, we were all in it together. Everyone supported one another and the choirs all sung as ONE! We just couldn’t be prouder of  our BIG Sing!  We feel like the proudest parents ever!
