🌟 What a Night at the Premier Radio Awards! 🌟

On Friday, The BIG Sing Gospel Choir gave an outstanding performance at the Indigo at The O2 for the Premier Radio Awards. This was a truly groundbreaking moment as Premier Gospel invited us to perform a special tribute to the legendary gospel group NU Colours.

Not only was it an incredible honour to be part of such an iconic event, but it was even more special to perform for NU Colours themselves, who were right there in the audience.

Essex Gospel Choir worked tirelessly for two months preparing for this moment — learning NU Colours’ songs, recording vocals, organising extra rehearsals, and pushing themselves to deliver their very best. And wow… did they deliver!

The performance was polished, powerful, and professional, and we could not be prouder. Even when faced with a few challenges on the day, the choir pulled together with such grace, teamwork, and determination. Together, we made it happen — and the result was unforgettable.

This was a shining moment for The BIG Sing, and we are so grateful to everyone who gave their all to make it happen. Thank you so much – they did us all so PROUD and carried our BIG Sing banner into the gospel music world – amazing!

Massive thanks to our amazing tutors: Neresa, Rebecca and Patricia for all their help and support and delivering fantastic lead vocals. Thank you to Bernie & Evie for all the logistics and organisation and getting us through the challenges on the day. And all the praise goes to Howard whose expertise truly shone through as he put all this together, prepared us, taught us and made sure we sounded SO GOOD! We are so blessed to have him leading us and taking us on these amazing adventures.
